Ah those were the days. What great times and friends. I feel privileged to have met so many like-minded poets and those interested in poetry though all the years at the Whitehouse. Even though some good friends have passed on - their words and memories live on. Well done Dominic for keeping it all going and continuing to do such great work for poetry in Limerick and surrounds.

Brilliant presentation of an excellent book.

Ulysses is very, very difficult, don't be disingenuous. I've read the book six times, and there are still episodes that totally baffle me. And, I suspect, baffle all these 'experts' as well. Most of them just trot out the usual references and quotes, to give the impression that they totally 'get it'. Thurlow has little to offer. (What happened to Joyce's sisters, to take but one example.)

Oh my lord!! I had no idea that Jared Harris was the son of Richard Harris! I am genuinely shocked, taken aback, and above all, impressed! Another brilliant actor.

Actor, writer, singer, Rugby player, unbelievable raconteur and the coolest man who ever lived.

So nice to see this site. My mother passed away in 12/1979 and she always was a big fan of Richard Harris. I remember her buying I, in the Membership of My Days not long before she passed away. She had me watch Richard recite his poem Too many Saviors on my Cross. Will always remember those days.
